Thank you Cee for Share Your World. Here are my answers.

If you were having difficulty on an important test and could safely cheat by looking at someone else’s paper, would you do so?

Definitely not! Not because I am self-righteous or a “goody goody”, more because my father instilled in us not to steal, lie or cheat. It’s something I just couldn’t do!

What things in nature do you find most beautiful?

My passion is birds. For me they are the most beautiful and fascinating creatures in the whole world.

Sunrises and sunsets are a very close second.  My feature photo is taken from Durban on a beach called Vetch’s Pier.  Here, Durban Seine Netters launch their boat and before casting their nets hoping for a good catch.

Complete this sentence: When I travel I love to….

When I travel I love to explore. Rarely will I choose a beach holiday or laze around. I love to visit new places, find out all about them, take photos and record my trips.  My camera, binoculars and a note book go everywhere with me.

What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week?

I had the opportunity, on the spur of the moment, to spend the weekend at Weenen Nature Reserve. Even though I had had a very busy November and was away most of the time, I just couldn’t say no.  I should’ve, but I didn’t.

So glad I did, found some beautiful birds and animals and watched a magnificent sunset. This all proved Jack Kerouac’s quote to be true.

Thanks for popping by.  Hope I’ll see you again.

Too true. I have to discipline myself not to only talk about them lol. Nature is full of amazing wonders.

I miss the weaver birds we had in the reed bed at our Porterville garden.
We have one or two that I hear singing in this garden, but not nesting here.
