Thank you Cee for Share Your World.  This week I came up with the answers quite quickly, here they are:

If you had to move to a country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why?

I love living in South Africa despite its many social problems and the challenges facing us.  However, if I moved it would be to Australia.  The weather and way of life is very similar to what I am used to.  When I was there earlier this year I felt at home, almost as if I belonged there.

The other even bigger attraction is that my son and his wife live in Sydney, I would love to live closer to them.

What colour would you like your bedroom to be?

When my home was full of children and dogs I promised myself that “One day I will have a pure white bedroom”.   Before I knew it my children had grown up and left home and my dogs all went to play in doggy heaven.  So I indulged myself in this fantasy.

However, I soon found it boring.  I now have a beautiful bedroom mainly white (I love white duvets) with dashes of fresh blue.

What makes you Happy? Make a list of things in your life that bring you joy.

I am a happy person and find joy in almost everything I do, but what adds spice to my life is:

  • My children
  • Birdwatching
  • Walking in wide open spaces enjoying nature around me
  • Writing posts for my blog. This fills the gap I have in my heart (I call it a wee bit of loneliness)
  • Reading a good book until midnight with no one complaining.

Q: What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week?

I love photography but for me there is so much room for improvement.

Today I popped into Durban’s Art Gallery where they are hosting a World Press Photo Exhibition.  The photography was magnificent and I was inspired to endeavor to take my photography skills to the next level.

Thank you for visiting ‘Share my World’.  Below is a link to my previous post and hopefully the list will grow each week.
